Tuesday 1:00 PM

Dad is in surgery as we speak...yahoo! He is having a tracheotomy and also a feeding tube inserted directly into his stomach. This allows for his mouth to be completely free of tubes...something we have really been praying for. Praise God for getting Pops in today! We pray that this will ease his anxiety and discomfort. We'll send an update on the surgery and his progress later tonight. Thank God for the sunshine today!

So thankful that Pat was able to have the surgery today! Thank you for your faithfulness (in the midst of everything that is going on) with keeping your bog updated. It makes us feel like we are there with your family and helps us to know how to specifically pray for your needs. I have to smile as I think about the fact that you are able to communicate to so many people through the computer. It reminds me of a conversation I had with your mom years ago. I asked her about emailing and she said she didn't use the computer because she was convinced it was just a fad!! :-) I'm glad it wasn't, and we are able to stay in touch this way. We are thinking about you and praying for you every single day! Mimi & Jeff Ipsen

OK that is more like it!!! PRAISE GOD and the Drs that they could go ahead with the surgery. I pray for a great outcome and thank goodness those pesky tubes will hopefully be gone for good. We all feel like cheerleaders as prayer partners and we thank you Bohrman Family for giving us the priviledge to be part of Pat's healing process. You are an inspiration and I pray for encouragement, healing, and trust amidst this trial. Love always,
Jenny Fell

Pat,Jean & Family: We,(as many families have been doing), have had Pat in our prayers as well as the Doctors and Nurses taking care of him. We know the family is covered in an umbrella of prayer. You've brought peace into our hearts just knowing how strong your families faith has strengthened you. What a testimony to other believers you are! God bless you all.

We have been praying for Pat to have a full recovery since we heard of the accident. Prayers are circulating as well in FL. I have to say this blog has been so inspirational, I have been checking it everyday! Thank you so much for the updates, even if it's the smallest steps or not much change since the last entry--slow progress is better than no progress. This is such a wonderful family!! May you rest good every night while God is watching over Pat, strengthening him for the next day. Bless you all!
