Surgery Update

Well, the "super smart doctor guy" is missing in action. He was supposed to assess dad this morning but the nurses are assuming there was an emergency that he needed to attend to. Because dad is only a trauma patient, any other emergency that was flown in last night would be in surgery before him. As soon as he comes to assess dad, we'll know if he'll be in surgery today. Praise the Lord for last night!! Dad's fever is down to 101.4 and his oxygen level has remained at 95%. God is so good...the nurses say he couldn't have had a better night!

Oh my goodness....the doctor has been found! Mom literally just called my cell and dad is going to be transported to surgery in the next few minutes. The surgeons are happy with his progress since yesterday so it's really happening. Mom got to pray with the anesthesialogist just now and dad is covered with prayer. Pray, pray, pray!!!!!!!!!!!! Lord, we give you our dad, we trust in your will for his life. We lay him at your feet and know that whatever the outcome is to you be the glory. Wow my heart is really pounding now....God is so good. Praise be to God. OK I am leaving now.

Dear Bohrman Family,
We heard the news about Pat from an ol' friend from Countryside, Geri, who we're so thankful, called us so we could pray. News of the accident brought a flood of memories of your entire family and how very special you all are to us!

Please know that you are being covered with our prayers & thoughts as well, as we daily check this blog for updates, and lift you up in prayer to our Heavenly Father.

"May the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way." 2 Thess. 3:16

Love, Gary & Mary Rohrmayer

Laurie and I were so very shocked to hear of the news of Pat. What a great guy. He is a friend to everyone. I know Pat is in Good Hands. Please let Pat know that even Butch is praying for him! Everyone knows Butch was not Pat's biggest fan :) Laurie and I will keep Pat & all of you in our prayers everyday.

Lots of Love and Prayers,
Joel and Laurie Gephart

Bohrman's,

Just want to say thanks for the updates. I must go to this site 20 times a day. Of course Pat, the family, the surgeons, doctors and nurses are in my prayers and constant thoughts. Praise God for last night and for the dedication of the countless people praying Pat.

Dear Bohrman family,

You all have been a beautiful testimony to me of what a family is over the years, and you continue to be so as I see you all pull together as you are now through your devotion and love for one another and faith in God.

I am here to help or answer questions in any way I can. I know you already know this, but I wanted to just tell you from my own personal experience that Pat is in EXCELLENT hands with the neurologists at Froedert. They have helped a friend of mine in the past that no other doctors would operate on and they are just wonderful (and she's done well). Infinite hugs to you all and I love you.

FYI - All of the Rentmeester girls are praying very hard for your entire family and that Pat's surgery is successful.

Thank you so much for keeping everyone updated.

Dear Bohrman family,

You have been a beautiful testimony to me over the years about what it is to be a family and you continue to do so as I watch you all pull together through your love, devotion, and faith in each other and God.

I know you already know this, but I just want to reiterate from my own personal experience with a friend in the past that Pat is in EXCELLENT hands with the neurology team at Froedert. They were able to help my friend when most every other neurologist in the area said that nothing more could be done. She's done well, and I believe Pat will do the same.

I'm praying for Pat and all of you and am here if you have any questions or if I can help in any way, please just ask.

Infinite hugs to you all,
Annah

p.s. This is the first time I've ever posted on a blog site, and I thought I lost the first message, so composed and sent it again. So sorry for the duplicate and now you officially know that I'm extremely technologically impaired in a big way. :-)

Praise God! Praise God! The Hargan family has been praying and checking the blog and thinking and praying some more. We are so relieved that the surgery is going forward. We are waiting anxiously to see the many miracles and blessings that the Lord still has in store for Pat and all of you. Our love to you all!

Waiting is the hardest part at this time. Pray, Be still and listen for a sign that a miracle is about to happen. Hold On!
Pray as you have never prayed before!

Dear Bohrman Family,

There is a host of people, many you don't even know, lifting your amazing family up in prayer. My prayer is that God will continue to surround you with His Mercy and His Love and that you will find a quiet peace and strength from His almighty arms. I pray for healing for Pat and wisdom for the doctors to make the right decisions for Pat's recovery process. I praise you for faithfully updating this Blog site so that your many friends know the latest news and I pray for a miracle for Pat and that is what I think we are witnessing.
With Love and prayer,

Dear Bohrmans,
We are so sad for all the misery
you and your dear Pat are going through. Thank you for letting us
know so we can keep joining you in
prayer at the Father's throne.

You are all dear and precious to us. We Bless God for all the remembrances of you since our first
encounter at Camp Forrest Springs.

I read the book of IPeter this
morning and pray this time of
suffering will find you finding
the comfort and help offered there.

I especially love the verse that
says "by his stripes we have been
healed." We are praying that for
dear Pat and blessing of His
presence in mighty power for all
of you as you bask in His love and
grace.

IPet. 5:7 says to cast all your
cares, worries, upon Him for he
cares for you. We do too.

I am going to pray with Marie for
you all now.

Thanks again for including us in
your love and for the faithful
reports on our Pat.

love and prayers,
tom and marie nesbitt
