Late Thursday Night

My apologies for my delinquent posting today....I finally got home after a full day of non dad-related things. Unfortunately, real life has to continue sometime. As much as we would all love to be at dad's side constantly...it just can't be. But know that no news is good news, or at least news that he is holding steady. Mom reported that dad is about the same as yesterday, but he seemed a little more aggitated. Mom thinks maybe he is becoming a little more aware of his condition, it's hard to tell. He slept a lot today, as he was pretty wiped out from being awake most of yesterday. She did say that when she left him tonight, she told him goodnight and he gave her a little smile and went to sleep. A comforting picture. I promise to be on top of things tomorrow...even if I have to bring the laptop everywhere I go. Keep praying for his pneumonia to disappear...we've got to get those lungs clear! God bless.

I was in Oshkosh Prison today doing a marriage seminar for the male inmates and their wives. My mom and I participate along with another couple through Dallas and Linda Strom's Discipleship Unlimited Ministry. I shared the "Bohrman" story and we had 14 inmates, 14 wives and us four volunteers lifting up the Bohrman family today in prayer. Powerful prayer!!!! You were lifted high by men in prison on a journey for healing and restoration, much like Pat, to break free and run the race set before them along side of Jesus. How far and how wide has the Pat Bohrman story reached to tell of the love of our Heavenly Father? The prayers of God's people are heard and answered according to His will. We will continue to pray. If your arms grow weary, many will be here to lift your arms up in prayer, to fullfill any requests and to rejoice in the glad and merry news of Pat's progress. linda lentz

No apologies are needed. It is a privilege to go on this walk of faith with you and your family. Which would not be possible without your sharing. "Well done my good and faithful servant"May God bless you with his peace and the joy of his prescence!

ames---tell your dad there's this big hole in the forrest drive sideyard that needs his attention, when he's got time.
and isn't that the way it goes--"put bohrman on it. he can fix anything."
and with that attitude and God's help, that includes fixing himself.
bohr is determined to a fault, a trait his loveable children have inherited as well.
courage, faith, hope, determination, love, and the most important of these is love.
that love shines in your wonderful words and photos. thanks for taking the precious time on this blog to share your family with the rest of the world--

Amy, no need to apologize. At one time or another, I think pretty much your whole viewing audience has been in a similar situation. We all have stood guard over a loved ones hospital bed and prayed, prayed, prayed for peace and healing.

You're doing all of us a great kindness by keeping up your daily blogs but girl, you need to take care of you too.

So as we head into Christmas weekend, take time for you and your family, celebrate Pat's victories, and rib Jean, just a little bit, about the snoring.

Peace to all!

Bohrman Family-
OK, I'm on it - Dear heavenly Father, we lift up Pat to you today for complete clearing of his lungs, and for continued signs of his returning strength. We thank YOU and praise YOU for the healing that YOU have already shown us through YOUR protective hand. We also lift up to YOU the Dr's and nurses caring for Pat, may they have discernment and wisdom in his care, compassion & time to attend to his needs, and a spirit of patience as they use their skill to meet the needs of all their patients. And Father, I lift up to you the entire Bohrman family - Please give them YOUR strength and assurance that they can trust YOU now with every need and request, encourage each and every one that YOU are with them on this journey. Give them strength, patience, and compassion as they communicate with each other and the health care professionals. Fill them with your holy spirit to carry them now and throughout this difficult journey. Help to encourage them, restore them daily with physical strength so they can rest securely in YOUR precious arms. Cover the entire family with the armour of God - the helmet of salvation, breastplate of righteousness, belt of truth, with their feet firmly planted in the gospel of YOUR truth. And the shield of faith completely surrounding them to stop the fiery arrows aimed at us by satan (lies, deceit, fear, doubt) and take up the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God. We humbly come before you now, to be so bold as to ask for complete healing and a full recovery for Pat. I thank you for the testimony of the family that glorifies YOU and I pray that YOU are going to use this in a mighty and powerful way to reveal YOURSELF not just to us as believers, but to those who are just wondering how any family can bear up under this adversity. "I have told you these things, so that in ME you will have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart!! I have overcome the world" John 16:33 So give Pat and his family a peace that surpasses all understanding today and will only strengthen as time moves forward. AMEN <><

Dear Precious Bohrmans.......I too am praying Jenny's prayer since it said all I wanted to pray. And I am believing God for a huge miracle for Pat and his dear family. Thanks for your faithfulness to send the updates to keep us informed. By the way I don't think Pat was confused to ask for a "hot tub" or a "get away car" with his sweetheart.
Much love and prayers..Marie Nesbitt
